Not as good as the previous two Edge books, but still a good read.
Kaldar's character development/reveal was not as interesting as Declan's or William's in the previous books. Kaldar's true nature was revealed more by Gaston's and Cerise's explanations to Audrey, not by Kaldar's own thoughts/narration. Audrey and Kaldar's budding romance seemed less smooth as well. You know they are going to get together eventually, but the journey there was a bit choppy, lacking enough internal/emotional struggles that make it more interesting. Definitely prefer the first two books in the series.
